The International Workshop "Exploring Quark-Gluon Plasma through soft and hard probes" will be held as an in-person meeting at the SANU (Serbian Academy of Science and Arts) in Belgrade from May 29th to May 31st, 2023. The workshop will focus on exploring the characteristics of Quark-Gluon Plasma produced during RHIC and LHC experiments. It will cover the latest developments in the field and provide an opportunity for common discussions of the experimental and theory communities. Specifically, topics for discussion will include:
- Jets and high momentum hadrons
- Collective dynamics from small to large systems
- Heavy quarks and quarkonia
- Early-time dynamics and nuclear structure in heavy-ion collisions
There will be no registration fee, as the cost of the workshop venue and coffee breaks will be funded by the ERC-CoG-2026 "QGP Tomography" project, Centre for Simulations of Superdense Fluids, SANU and local funds. The participants should cover the travel, accommodation costs, and local expenses.
Relevant deadlines:
- Registration deadline: April 3rd, 2023
- Abstract submission deadline: April 3rd, 2023
