11080 Belgrade (Zemun)
Serbia

The following buses stop near IPB: 17, 73, 84, 704, 707 (bus stop Tršćanska) and 706 (bus stop Filipa Višnjića).

The participants of the meeting should take the main entrance of IPB and follow the signs that will guide them to the hall where the meeting will take place.

To and from the airport

Belgrade airport “Nikola Tesla” is 16 km away from Belgrade city center. The airport is at 10 km from the IPB premises, and can be reached in 15 minutes. The airport is quickly accessible by taxi (approx. 20 minutes ride, depending on the traffic). If you decide to take a taxi from the airport, you should ask for a fixed price voucher from the taxi service stand in the area just after you exit the customs. Then you can pick up a taxi vehicle in front of the building. There are also unofficial taxi drivers who offer their services (sometimes aggressively), but we strongly advise you to avoid them. From the airport to the city center there is a fixed price of 1400 RSD (~11.4 EUR) for Zone 1 voucher, if your destination is Zemun (the area where IPB and recommended hotels are located) or 1800 RSD (~14.6 EUR) for Zone 2 voucher, if you are going to Belgrade center (Old Town). From the city center to the airport (depending on the starting location) – from 1000 to 1800 RSD (8 to 14.6 EUR).

Public transportation in Belgrade

If you decide to use bus for transportation, you need to purchase BusPlus card (available at news stands). You have different types of cards: rechargeable and daily cards, valid for 1, 3 or 5 days.

The price of the rechargeable card is 250 RSD (~2 EUR), and you can add credit at almost any news stand. One ride is 89 RSD (~0.7 EUR) and it is valid for 90 minutes period during which you can change your bus unlimited times. Each time you enter the bus, you have to put your BusPlus card close to the card reader (available at each bus entrance). In the beginning of 90 minutes interval it will withdraw 89 RSD from your credit but later, if you are just changing the bus during these 90 minutes, it will just register bus change. The card reader also notifies you about your current credit, direction, and bus stop names.

Daily BusPlus cards cost: 290 RSD (2.4 EUR) for 1 day card, 740 RSD (6 EUR) for 3 days card, and 1040 RSD (8.4 EUR) for 5 days card. They are valid from the moment of purchase for 1, 3, or 5 days. As with the previous type of cards, you should always validate your daily card when you enter the bus.

You can always buy single ticket at driver that is valid only for a single ride and it costs 150 RSD (1.2 EUR).
