The objectives of the Eastern Europe Partnership Event were: • to raise the awareness of politicians, civil servants and funding agencies of the importance of developing e-Infrastructures in the countries concerned; • to make the case for the development of national e-Infrastructures in the countries concerned and to encourage further integration of NRENs in those countries with GÉANT and other pan-European e-Infrastructures; • to encourage these stakeholders to support e-Infrastructures and provide the means for sustaining the developments in their own countries.
